Welcome: If you purchased a new domain, please allow 24 hours for it to propagate throughout the Internet.When you see the "under construction" page below, you will know your domain has propagated and your new hosting account is ready for use.

If you purchased hosting or email for an existing domain or domain registrar transfer you will first need to contact your existing domain registrar and update your DNS settings to our name servers NS1.LOWESTHOSTING.COM & NS2.LOWESTHOSTING.COM

After your DNS it will take up to 24 hours for the Internet to propagate the changes after which your account with Lowesthosting.com will work.


After your domain has propagated, simply type help.yourdomain.com to get to the client area for each domain you own ( for example if your domain is acme.com...just type help.acme.com)

If part of the yellow bar is missing you will need to set your browser Text size to small or medium and set your security settings to low or medium to accomodate the control panel. If you don't see both upper and lower sections try turning off any firewall software and make sure frames is enabled for your browser.

Every new account is emailed a "Payment Receipt" and "Welcome Email" . You may need these to prove ownership or access your account information in the future so please remember to print and store them for safe keeping.


Getting Started: Start with the"Quick Setup Guide" which explains all the important areas of your new hosting account. Each part of the client area is self explanatory and you can click the help "?" button for explanations of any client area feature.


How To Submit A Support Request:: To reach our support department please submit a new support ticket for each new issue.

You only need to do this one time to start the email conversation with our support staff. After you submit your support ticket you will receive an instant auto reply with your issues unique ticket number.

When our staff reply it will be to the same email address you filled out on the form and you will be able to add more comments or questions to the ticket by simply replying to the same email each time.


1. Please do not open multiple tickets on same subject as it confuses our staff and can result in both being cancelled.
2. If you respond to our email, you must click REPLY so it retains the same tracking number in the subject.
3. If you have difficulty you can also send an email directly to support@lowesthosting but make sure to write from your official billing email address and fill out Your Name, Domain Name, and Issue Description.

Please Be Detailed In Your Answers: Your hosting account contains many different systems; The Domain, The Billing System, The Server and its subcomponents like FTP or Email Accounts. Please try to be as detailed as possible and explain what steps you are doing, what logins or passwords or other configurations you are entering and what errors or messages result.. The more information you supply the faster our technicians can interpret and verify your issue and supply a solution.

Why Email Is Used For All Support Issues: You should always open a support ticket or send an email directly to support@lowesthosting.com for any communication with our firm regardless of the subject.

The support ticketing system logs your ticket and ties to our billing system allowing our technicians and engineers to pull your records and quickly respond or pass an issue to other staff or departments until its resolved. Because of the highly technical nature of our business it lets us supply you with exact written instructions and maintain a history for each issue as well as comply with our legal departments requirements for an audit trail.


How Billing Works:: You can use the billing system to view past invoices, pay a renewal invoice, or add on service invoices..

All services sold by Lowesthosting.com are on an annual basis and in most cases your domain & hosting or email will be created on the same day which becomes your anniversary date. Our billing system will notify your billing email address 30 & 14 days prior to expiration that your domain or service will be expiring and offer you the option to cancel or renew each line item. If you choose to renew you will be given the option to choose your payment method and after payment our system will automatically renew the service for another year. WE DO NOT AUTO CHARGE YOUR CREDIT CARD OR PAYPAL because we don't know if or which Items you wish to renew or what payment method you wish to use.

Please remember that we use your BILLING email address to authenticate you as our customer and will only send renewal notices or sensitive account information to that email address so its CRUCIAL that you maintain a current email address with our firm. If you change your email address make sure to update your server, domain & billing record. Because of firewalls and spam filters we can not guarantee that you will receive or read our emails, therefore please be proactive and keep your information current and make sure lowesthosting.com is in your whitelist.

If you wish to cancel any service prior to expiration, simply send an email to admin@lowesthosting.com requesting which services you wish to cancel and a prorated account credit or refund will be issued for any unused service. Please note that domains are custom items that can not be refunded under any circumstance.


Emergency Proceedures: If you need to contact support please open a ticket from the ticketing system and explain the issue so our technicians can try to help you. If there was ever a catastrophic network outage and our website was also down, our special fail over mirror will take approximately 15 minutes to cut over to our backup servers located on another network so rest assured you will always be able to reach us even under adverse conditions.

In the rare event your website is not reachable this could be due to either a problem with your Browser, Firewall, Router, ISP or a problem with one of the thousands of Internet transit points or routers between your location and our server or a problem with your domain being expired or your web server being rebooted or under high load or in rare cases down.

If you are unable to reach your website, first go to the client area link on the Lowesthosting.com website or help.Lowesthosting.com to read the network status monitor and see if your webserver is down.


The network status monitor is hosted from our secondary network and will show the status of all our webservers. If your webserver has red bars on it, then our technicians are already aware of the problem and it is not necessary to contact support as this only adds to our workload. If an emergency server outage occurs, we will post announcement updates on the help.Lowesthosting website to keep you informed of the outage condition and expected repair time. Our administrative office is also available Monday -Friday from 9am to 5pm Pacific Standard Time at 800-762-4913 x 0 for non technical issues.

If your webserver is showing green, then the problem is somewhere between you and our server. Please try another ISP or computer and if no luck open a support ticket by sending an email directly to support@lowesthosting.com
